US-Guided interventions workshop

This hands-on workshop provides an excellent opportunity to practice ultrasound-guided soft tissue injections on realistic models.
This course offers a combination of theoretical and practical learning for both biomedical engineering and healthcare professionals.

 

Program:

Theory (Lecture Room A; 8.30h – 9:30h)

• Opening words (Calin Tiu)
• Ultrasound Physicals (Andreas Melzer)
• The benefit of using ultrasound in the guidance of surgical procedures (Calin Tiu)
• How to do it (Radu Elisei)

Hands-on (Surgical Area -OR5-; 9:30h – 13:30h)

 

Places available: 12 trainees.

 

Fee
Once your registration is confirmed, you will have to pay a fee of 50€ for expenses derived from the organization of the workshop.
