I got my Medical Degree in 2008. I completed my Specialty in General Surgery in 2014 and in 2017 I achieved a PhD in Biotechnologies, Biosciences and Surgical Technologies with dissertation titled “Clinical Applications of Fluorescence Guided Surgery”.
During my career I’ve always been involved in research and development of new technologies in the field of laparoscopic surgery such as: single port surgery instrumentations, new transanal endoscopic surgical platforms, ICG enhanced fluorescence camera system and percutaneous instrumentations, working together with some leading companies on the market.
Currently I work in Milan, at Policlinico Hospital, being involved in minimally invasive surgical practice and actively participating to several national and international clinical studies. I am responsible for lessons of International Medical School (University of Milan) and I also have an active role in organizing and mentoring residents’ activities.
